Ariadne is a health and movement companion. It is not a medical service, not a crisis service, and not a substitute for professional advice. You use it because you want a knowledgeable, thoughtful presence to help you stay active and understand your body — not because you expect it to diagnose, treat, or intervene in a medical emergency.
Use it honestly, use it for its intended purpose, and we'll do our best to make it genuinely useful to you. That's the spirit of this agreement. The sections below are the formal version.
Ariadne ("Ariadne", "we", "us") is operated by Fifty Three & Co LLC d/b/a MeetAriadne. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Ariadne web application and any related services (together, "the Service").
By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be 18 or older to use Ariadne. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.
The Service is currently available by invitation only, as part of a private beta. Access may be granted, withdrawn, or modified at our discretion during this period.
Ariadne is a conversational AI companion for movement, exercise, and general wellbeing. It is designed to help you make better day-to-day decisions about how you move and exercise.
Ariadne is not:
Nothing Ariadne says should be taken as medical advice. If you have a health concern, injury, or medical condition, please consult a qualified professional. If you are in a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. Please let us know immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
We use passwordless (magic link) authentication. Your email address is your account identifier.
Use Ariadne for its intended purpose — as a health and movement companion. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
When you use Ariadne, you share personal information including health-related information. How we handle that is covered in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
You retain ownership of the information you share. By using the Service, you give us the right to process that information to provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
This section will apply when paid subscriptions are introduced. During the current private beta, the Service is provided free of charge to invited users.
When billing goes live: subscription fees will be stated clearly before you're charged. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial periods except where required by law.
We aim to keep Ariadne available and working well, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change, or temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or improvement without notice, though we'll try to give advance warning for significant changes.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any information provided through it will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances.
Health and exercise carry inherent risks. You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for making your own judgements about the advice and information it provides.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fifty Three & Co LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim (or, during the free beta period, zero).
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
